Awards Ceremony
All registered participants for the Half Marathon, 5K, 5K Teams, and Fit Kid Shuffle will receive a finisher’s medal after crossing the finish line. In addition to the finisher’s medal, trophies will be presented to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners for the Half Marathon and the 5K. An additional purse prize will be presented to the top three overall men and women in the Half Marathon. The 5K Teams winners will be presented with a traveling trophy to keep for the year in which their organization’s name will be engraved on it. The Fit Kid Shuffle will have trophies for top placers in each category. The order in which the awards ceremony will take place is the 5K, 5K Teams, and then Half Marathon. Exact timing will be flexible depending on our timer completing certification.
Age Group Awards will be given to the top 3 men and women’s in each age category. Stop by the award booth to see your time and receive your trophies! The Ceremony will take place on campus at the Coulthart Family Pavilion. Those participating in the Fit Kid will have their trophies given and pictures taken at the Track.
Half Marathon, Top Overall Finishers
Awards will be given to:
1st – 3rd Place Men’s/Women’s Overall
As well as purse prize:
1st Place: $400.00
2nd Place: $250.00
3rd Place: $100.00
**Overall finishes is based off gun time.
5K Teams
Trophies will be given to:
Top team in Student Organization category
Top team in Business/Sponsor category
Trophy will have the winning team’s organization engraved on it. The organization will keep the trophy until the following race year.
Fit Kid Shuffle
Trophies will be given to:
Top winner in each age group
5K Top Finishers
Awards will be given to:
1st – 3rd Place Men’s/Women’s Overall
Age Groups
Age groups include the following:
10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+. To view winners from previous years in each age division, visit Race Results.
We advise that you be present at the awards ceremony if you feel you have qualified for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in your age group to receive your award. You can pick up your awards up once timing has been posted. Once the event is over, awards leftover will be recycled.
