The Greater Whitewater Committee (GWC) is an organization made up of businesses, with goals to educate, advocate, and develop ideas that make Whitewater a destination of choice to visit and live. It is for this reason the GWC decided to introduce the Discover Whitewater Series, with its inaugural race in September 2013.

Thanks to the continued support and growing interest, the annual Discover Whitewater Series has proven to be a great success year after year. In the past ten years, the Discover Whitewater Series has been able to distribute over $254,500 to local organizations in efforts to build a stronger community. Furthermore, with the success of the recent 10th Anniversary DWS, there will be even more funds allocated to charity partners.

 More than 35 representatives from Whitewater businesses and community organizations gather together regularly to help plan this event and to ensure that a high quality, safe and challenging course is established for participants.
