Parking, Toilets, Hydration Stations, Gear Check, & Prohibited Items

Parking

We will have free parking for runners and spectators along with a shuttle service from parking lots that are further away from the high school.

Parking maps will be posted soon.

Toilets

Toilet facilities will be available at the start, finish, and along the entire course. Toilet facility map will be posted soon.

Hydration Stations

There will be 1 pre-race hydration station. The Half Marathon features 10 hydration stations; the 5K Course has 2 stations. Hydration stations will be stocked with Gatorade, followed by water.

The finish line will feature water, chocolate milk, pretzels, and fruit (free for all finishers). Additional food and beverages will be available at the Post Race Celebration at 841 Brewhouse.

Finish Line Area

Finisher medals, food and beverages for race participants will be located at the finish line. Participants will be asked to move to the post race awards area until the post race awards ceremony begins at 9:45 a.m. (5K) and 10 a.m. (Half Marathon).

Spectators will NOT be allowed onto the field or into the finish line area. Spectators will be able to view and cheer on finishers from the bleachers!

Gear Check

Gear check will be available inside the high school near the packet pick-up/onsite registration area. Gear Pick-Up will be on the backside of the high school near the NW corner of the track at Door #’s 20 and 21 (entrance will be marked).

Prohibited Items

  • Animals, other than service animals
  • Roller blades
  • Scooters
  • Bikes
  • Other vehicles

The DWS does have a wheelchair division for both the Half Marathon and the 5K- Wheelchairs or hand cranks are welcome on the course. We recommend all walkers remain in the back. Strollers and wagons are permitted, but not recommended in the Half Marathon all participants using a stroller or wagon must start at the back of all other participants.
